“ Had a great service experience here last night. We stopped by when it was pretty busy. Took a little while for our waitress to take our order, but we weren’t bothered because it was lovely out. When she finally got to us, she was so apologetic and kind, even when we reassured her that we weren’t upset. ”
“ We had lunch here on a lovely sunny day. Found a table with views of the harbour and some shade. We ordered the three course set menu which seemed good value at 24.50. Our starters of crab and asparagus were delicious followed by a main course of John Dory which was well cooked and tasty. The dessert was lovely but I would have liked a little more pear to make it perfect. There was a good selection of wine which complimented the food and was well chilled which is essential especially on a hot day. Above all the staff were very friendly and attentive and did everything to make our lunch feel like a special occasion. I will definitely be back soon. ”

“ Really nice place if you want some nice beer and just relax with friends or you fancy a very well prepared food. Everything is freshly made, really good selection but of mains and starters and I love their desserts. It’s nice and cosy place. It’s always nice to have a hot meal in winter time and in summer time I love to walk besides Avon river and my final destination is this place for chilled, nice beer. I always come to this place when I go for my walks by the river side. ”
“ This is a lovely pub on the side of the dock. It was a beautiful day so we were sat outside in the sun although the manager offered us to sit inside or under umbrellas. The menu is not extensive but the food is very high quality and for a reasonable price. The drink selection is large including noon or low alcohol options if you drive (they have their own car park). The manager was helpful and quite jolly. It was a pleasure! ”

It is prepared with both care and artistry, and this takes some time, but it's worth it. There is outside seating too, and a moderate number of free parking spaces that will often suffice on not-so-busy evenings. ”
